Getting started
What you’ll need
Your NMC registration
A current NMC PIN as a registered nurse, in good standing, with your standard NHS-level compliance up to date.
Emergency department experience
Recent time in A&E or an emergency assessment unit, and confidence across triage, majors and minors.
The right temperament
Quick, calm and decisive. A&E rewards nurses who prioritise well under pressure and keep patients reassured while they do it.
