A CEO’s look back at 2024
December is always a great time to take a little time for reflection. I don’t know about you, but I am always looking forward to hitting the next target and achieving the next thing, so it’s sometimes good to look back and realise how much we’ve achieved; take a moment to recognise it for ourselves and those around us.
We have to start with our biggest achievements to date – being successful in tendering for not just one, but TWO NHS Frameworks! We are very proud to work in partnership with the NHS to provide a sustainable temporary workforce and this will always be a moment to remember!
The first framework went live in June, and in just five months we have on-boarded over 20 NHS Trusts. This is a huge achievement given that the general market is very quiet. It gives us further confidence that, as Labour start to invest in bringing down waiting lists, Novello will be at the forefront of temporary staffing support across Theatres, Critical Care, Wards, Community and Mental Health. We are already in conversation with 30+ Trusts across England about working with them in 2025.
Earlier this year we were awarded our first Nursing Home contract, with our second, much larger contract now confirmed as going live in January 2025 – watch this space!
And we have proudly been confirmed as the top supplier to a large group of private hospitals (I’m sure you can work out who!) – we have been working hard in partnership with them to ensure all hospital sites are fully staffed with high quality, compliant nurses and ODPs. Thank you to all our wonderful healthcare professionals who have helped to make this happen.
And of course we have our mobile app, designed to give you complete transparency throughout your journey with Novello, from registration to shifts and through to getting paid. We have continued to release new features, such as automated shift suggestions based on your availability and preferences, and look forward to making it even more amazing next year. Our development is based on your feedback so keep it coming!
