Getting started
What you’ll need
Your NMC registration
A current NMC PIN as a registered nurse, in good standing, with your compliance up to date.
Neonatal experience
Recent time in NICU, SCBU or transitional care, with a QIS or neonatal course a real advantage for the higher-dependency cots.
The right temperament
Precise, patient and gentle. Neonatal nursing rewards nurses who stay calm, notice the smallest change and reassure worried families.
