Novello launches our sustainable workforce podcast!
Novello Healthcare is delighted to announce our new podcast, hosted by CEO and Co-founder Jane Couper.
Our podcast is designed for NHS senior executives, workforce managers, nurses, ODPs and healthcare professionals to share their experience and thoughts on the UKs healthcare system.
In each episode we talk to wonderful people with significant experience of working with the NHS, discussing in detail the challenges of creating an NHS that’s fit for generations to come – with a particular focus on driving a sustainable workforce.
In our first episode Jane Couper welcomes Dr Billy Palmer, Senior Fellow in Health Policy at the Nuffield Trust!
Billy’s portfolio of work has a particular focus on the NHS workforce. He was previously a specialist manager at the National Audit Office (UK Parliament) with particular responsibilities for leading on health analytics.
He has published reports on the NHS looking at staff contracts, hospital build projects, productivity, funding allocations, stroke care, and maternity services.
He also holds an honorary research fellowship at Imperial College London with his academic work having a particular focus on the “weekend effect” in healthcare.
