Interested in the Salisbury shifts?
Leave your details and we’ll come back to you about these roles and the other shifts we have near you, and what they pay. It takes about twenty seconds.
Outpatient RGN — dermatology clinic
A registered nurse role in a consultant-led dermatology outpatient clinic, Monday to Friday during the day. You will be assessing patients and managing clinic flow, carrying out venepuncture and phlebotomy, liaising with reception and the clinic coordinators, and identifying and escalating urgent patients. Dermatology or general outpatient experience is desirable, as is venepuncture and phlebotomy. It is outpatient nursing at its best: broad, patient-facing and with genuinely sociable hours.
Outpatient HCA — dermatology clinic
A healthcare assistant role alongside the clinicians in the same dermatology clinic. The work includes chaperoning clinicians, general patient care and basic patient documentation, keeping the clinic running smoothly and patients comfortable and informed. Phlebotomy is desirable. If you are an experienced HCA who is organised and good with people, this is a steady weekday clinic role.
Theatre staff — minor ops
Theatre practitioners and ODPs for minor-ops lists, Monday to Thursday during the day. The work includes preparing theatres and surgical trays, assisting during local anaesthetic procedures and diagnostic biopsies, patient positioning and perioperative care, specimen labelling and documentation, and post-operative patient education. Theatre or minor-ops experience is needed. It is precise, team-driven work without the on-call and night lists of major theatres.
Why these Salisbury shifts are worth a look
All three roles are largely weekday days, which is exactly why outpatient and minor-ops work appeals to so many experienced staff: it fits neatly around family and a life outside work, without the relentless nights-and-weekends pattern of ward or acute theatre nursing. They sit within our wider work across Wiltshire.
Pay you can see up front. The rate for every shift is shown in the app before you accept it, so there are no surprises. Compliance made simple. We keep your registration, DBS and mandatory training in order and remind you before anything is due.
How to get started
Registration takes under 60 seconds. For the nursing role you will need a live NMC registration, for the theatre role your NMC or HCPC registration, and for the HCA role relevant clinic or care experience, plus an up-to-date DBS and mandatory training in each case. We will help you get everything in order, and with the right paperwork you can be compliant quickly.
What are the hours?
The outpatient roles are Monday to Friday and the minor-ops theatre role is Monday to Thursday, both during the day, so these are sociable-hours shifts.
Can I pick up more than one of these roles?
If you have the right registration and experience, yes. Register and tell us which roles suit you, and we will match you to the shifts you are cleared for, in Salisbury and across Wiltshire.
